The EEC Commission, then from 1967 the single merged Commission, before the first enlargement in January 1973.

From the first enlargement, which brought in the United Kingdom, to the end of the Delors years and the Maastricht Treaty.

From Santer to Barroso, 1995 to 2014 3

Santer's Commission resigned in March 1999. Prodi took office that September, then Barroso served two terms to 2014.

Juncker, the third President from Luxembourg, then the incumbent, the first woman in the office, re-elected in 2024.
