Six EU countries do not use the euro: Czechia, Denmark, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Sweden.
Two in the north (Denmark, Sweden) and four in the east (Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Romania). Only Denmark has a legal opt-out.
Denmark holds a treaty opt-out; Sweden has no opt-out but has never joined ERM II.
