ASEAN has eleven members, and the newest was admitted in October 2025
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations has eleven full member states. Five founded it in 1967 by signing the Bangkok Declaration. Five more joined between 1984 and 1999. The eleventh first applied in 2011 and was admitted on 26 October 2025, the first new member since 1999. The list counts full members only; an observer is not a member.
Name them all first, then the five founders and the six later members.
