The G7 has had the same seven members since 1976
The Group of Seven is a club of seven sovereign states. Six of them founded it in 1975, when it was the Group of Six, and the seventh joined in 1976 to complete it. The membership has not changed since. The European Union attends the meetings and takes part in most discussions, but as a non-enumerated member: it is not one of the seven countries, so it is not on this list.

Russia was in the G8, never the G7
Russia belonged to the wider G8 from 1998 until it was suspended in 2014, after its annexation of Crimea. The G8 was a separate, larger grouping. Russia never joined the G7 itself, so it has no place on a list of the seven.
